Well well well, looks like Apple’s bad decisions have lead to customers being annoyed and disappointed. Weird, right? Apple’s latest and dumbest dongle is already under a one-month shipping delay due to people NEEDING THEM TO USE A MAJOR FEATURE. Let’s talk about it.
The new “USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter” that Apple sells for an entire $9.00 USD is currently being delayed by up to a month. Apple announced it earlier this week with the unveiling of the 10th-gen iPad which, if you haven’t heard, despite having support for USB-C and being new only supports the 1st-gen Apple Pencil and needs a f**king dongle to even use it. Cool.

You can tell by the price that Apple knew this product was an absolute joke and is directly caused by a failing on their part to actually make a 100% cohesive product experience with the new 10th-gen iPad. If you’re a masochist, you can buy a totally new 1st-gen Apple Pencil since it comes with the adapter in the box now… but come on.
If you weren’t aware, the new 10th-gen iPad comes in at $100 more than the 9th-gen iPad before it. So, if you’re truly pressed for a newer iPad experience and want to use a current generation Apple Pencil you might as well buy an iPad Air for a little more.

This is quite the disappointment in my opinion. Frankly, Apple should include this stupid dongle in the box with every 10th-gen iPad – especially if they’re only gonna charge 9 bucks for it. I guess they actually need to make and stock enough of them first.
