Last week, we were hearing word of a growing issue amongst Apple Watch Series 8 and even Apple Watch Ultra users that found their microphones weren’t working randomly – yesterday we heard it from the fruit company themselves.
In a new memo obtained by the folks at MacRumors, Apple has said that they’re aware of the bug, even expounding on which use cases it can affect: Siri not hearing the user, voice memos failing to record, and phone calls being unusable. Apple even acknowledged the message users could see on their Apple Watches when using the Noise app, “Measurement Suspended”.
Apple says that restarting the Apple Watch may temporarily fix the problem and suggests the problem is not hardware related. Apple in the memo says that customers should remain updated to the latest watchOS version, indicating a fix could soon be released.

Good. This is yet another bug amongst many that are just cropping up all over Apple’s newly released devices. It’s a miracle that these seem to continuously be software related and can be fixed with an update, because if these were found to be hardware-related… Tim Cook and friends would be seeing a fat class-action lawsuit running their way.
Hey Apple, maybe hire like three more software quality control people, this is getting absolutely ridiculous.
