In a shocking turn of events, a prototype for Meta’s upcoming Quest Pro headset was found left in a hotel room, and we have all sort of images and video of the unannounced device. I’m getting flashbacks to the iPhone 4 prototype being left at a bar, let’s take a look!
Someone seriously f**ked up. Here’s a handful of images and a video that was ironically posted to Facebook (lol) of the Quest Pro prototype set to be announced next month – all images are credited to Ramiro Cardenas via his Facebook:

As the last image shows, this is an engineering sample of the Quest Pro headset, way to go random Meta employee. That’s a pretty great early look! The Quest Pro is set to be announced next month, in October, where we’ll get more technical information as well as pricing for the premium VR headset.
What a day lol, there’s nothing better than unannounced prototype hardware being left and then put online for views. Just don’t try to sell it to any media outlets, Ramiro, you know what happened to the last guy…
