My dear readers, excuse me for a second… *clears throat* WHAT IN THE F**K. Why do you hurt us, Tim? WHY.
In a report from the tragically accurate Ming-Chi Kuo, we have word that Apple plans to increase the prices of iPhone 14 Pro models wayyyyy higher than the previous iPhone 13 Pro… oh man, it’s bad. Let’s take a look and be sad together.
Kuo’s tweet is a pit of despair that gives us an estimated iPhone 14 Pro price increase of about 15% over iPhone 13 Pro. Ugh.
We don’t have exact prices from Kuo yet, however we can do some simple math to get a rough idea of how much the prices could increase to, given Apple’s pricing strategies. We could be looking at starting at $1,099 for iPhone 14 Pro and then $1,199 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and of course these estimates are actually lower than a 15% increase – so we’re being optimistic here.. This is the worst.
If your memory is failing you during this time of high-stress and depression, let me remind you that the iPhone 13 Pro started at $999 and iPhone 13 Pro Max at $1,099.
Guess we can all just get part-time jobs as paperboys or something, huh? Tim Cook is TRYING TO RUIN CHRISTMAS, YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.
