We have a fat, juicy, thiccc leak dump from @Jioriku on Twitter where they gave us a whole THREAD of goodies – we got 30W charging, fancy colors, always-on display stuff, processor stuff you name it. Let’s take a look!
It would take 1 year and 7 months exactly for us to talk about every single detail of the leaks from their tweet thread, so I’ll just pick out some choice lil’ nuggets of leak-ness!
We have a lovely list of colors available depending on if you’re feeling Pro or not, Jioriku says we’re getting:
- iPhone 14 base/Max gets Green, Purple, Blue, Black, White and Red
- iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max gets Green, Purple, Silver, Gold and Graphite
Okay, moving on to the always-on display tech!
It looks like we’re getting confirmation from them that the info we’ve seen from the Xcode leaks is accurate, so that’s good. They’re claiming the always-on display will perform similarly to how nightstand mode works on the current gen Apple Watch including mirroring of lock screen complications 👍.
Finally we’ll go ahead and touch on their claims about 30W charging 👀:
That’s looking very solid, I’m happy to just get any semblance of 30W charging here. It makes sense for the wattage to be variable as well, for heat concerns. Sadly, wireless charge speeds aren’t increasing, but that’s not a deal breaker – wireless charging has always seemed like a convenient trade-off more than a serious charge solution to me.
