iPhone 14 Shortages Are Real, But Apple Has A Plan

It’s looking like a certainty that iPhone 14 will face non-stop supplier shortages, however per the fantastical Mr. Ming-Chi Kuo – Apple has it all figured out…

From Kuo’s Twitter, he’s clued us in that Apple has been building a team… a very capable team. It’s like Ocean’s Twelve, with less George Clooney and more iPhone part supplier manufacturer company things. Whatever. Apple is basically securing extraneous suppliers for iPhone 14 parts as a backup if sh*t hits the fan for production. Like it hasn’t already.

Oh yeah, like half the tweets aren’t in English so fire up that Google Translate!

The new supplier is SG Micro, a Chinese company specializing in integrated circuits, whose power management circuitry is intended to be used in the iPhone 14 series. Apple has just green-lighted the company’s parts as totally good enough for the new phones, yay!

This is definitely in-line with Kuo’s recent tweets regarding iPhone 14 production issues not actually affecting availability of the products on release. Let’s hope the ship stays on course. Hold on sailors, the water could get choppy!
