TrendForce, a global market research company for consumer electronics, says:
“Apple is expected to focus on driving sales of the three non-mini models in the iPhone 12s series in view of the fact that the iPhone 12 mini (which reached End-of-Life ahead of time in 2Q21) suffered disappointing sales performances compared to other models in the iPhone 12 family.”– TrendForce
Listen, we have no idea how reliable that “market intelligence” is, or whether TrendForce is as accomplished as they claim to be, so take all this with a grain of ass hair. Here’s a report of them saying Apple would launch three phones in 2018…with Pencil support. Given the fact that iPhone 12 Mini sales have been strained since release; however, their latest report makes sense.
While this claim seems to put an end to all iPhone 12 mini production lines, the iPhone 12 mini remains available on Apple.com without any significant shipping delays.
Apple is still expected to unveil an iPhone 13 Mini, as reported by our very own Toilet Squad Leader.
