We had an early heads-up from writer Jane Manchun Wong a couple weeks ago about a new monthly subscription service coming to Twitter, called “Twitter Blue”.
Effectively, the service will cost $2.99/ month and will give you access to a few new (but exclusive) features.
If you’re willing to fork up the price of a shitty coffee, you’ll be able to “Undo Tweets”, have access to “Reader Mode”, toggle new color themes, AND you’ll be able to change the default app icon. How cool…?
Twitter accidentally (or dentally) confirmed “Twitter Blue” today, listing the service as a new in-app purchase on Twitter’s app page within the App Store.
They confirmed the service, itself, along with the price — $2.99.
As for when Twitter will officially announce the service? Who knows. But I’m assuming it can’t be *that* far off, since the in-app purchase is now listed within the newest update.
